Dental Exams and X-Rays in Gardena, CA

I recently went for a check up and Manny was very kind and helpful while taking my xrays, I felt very comfortable. Then Patty explained to me what my treatment consisted of, she explained everything very clearly and even helped with getting an increase of my care credit account. Thank you Gardena dental.

I took my brother last week for his dental checkup. Yesenia explained everything to us, and we understood what he needed. She answered all our questions in great detail. It's a good office; I recommend it. A great team.

I came in for a checkup because I haven't went to the dentist in what it seems like forever. I thought I would give this place a try and I wasn't disappointed. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I had a great overall experience and would recommend to come here and get whatever dental stuff you need to get done. They were very understanding of my situation and how they can help.

I really love this dental office. The dentists and staff are super friendly and really thorough with their check ups. Dr. Saz is the nicest man you will ever meet. He doesn't rush you and cares about the treatments for your teeth. Dr. Robert is also another awesome dentist there. He made sure my crown was fitting just right and didn't care how long or picky I was with the fit ;). Rhonda is the best hygienist and made my teeth so clean! My teeth were sensitive and she took the time to explain what to do and what toothpaste to use to help that. My kids have also had very positive experiences with their dental checkups and cleanings. My son even wants to be a dentist now ;). I highly recommend this dental group.

Probably one of the most well-rounded dental experiences I’ve had; it was super easy to book my first exam, the waiting room and exam rooms are gorgeous, LITERALLY everyone is warm and friendly; including the Doctors; and my exam was very thorough. After my exam a very patient young lady sat down with me, answered all of my questions, helped make a treatment plan that fit my schedule and my benefits and gave me a cute goodie bag with my next appointment scheduled. I think this office is great for anyone but especially those who may have anxiety surrounding the dentist because they truly make it a comfortable experience.

I’m a new patient here but have had several appointments within the past month, and all I can say is how impressed I am by how warm and professional the staff are. I was helped by Dr. Nathan and Asst. Noe both today and last week, and they absolutely nailed it! Would definitely recommend.

New patient/ First visit experience:Had a good experience at the office today for my regular exam and cleaning. Check in was a breeze. The front office staff was very courteous. All expenses were well explained in advance along with questions in a patient manner. Kaily , dental hygienist was friendly, awesome and super professional!!

The first appointment at Gardena Dental Group for a routine check-up for my son . The front desk staff, offered a warm welcome, making the check-in process smooth. This helped to ease any anxiety about the visit. The dental hygienist, [Manny], was fantastic. Everything was explained, which was appreciated. Had never met someone like him very welcoming and made my son feel comfortable . The hygienist also gave helpful advice on improving oral hygiene. Dr. [Nate ] was also great and patiently addressed all questions about what procedure needed to be done . Lastly , I would like to thank Leslie the office manager that explained kindly the process with the financial treatment plan . And accommodated my other kids in one visit . That is a SUPER plus for a mom with more than one . The entire visit was comfortable and will be returning with my other kids . I hope the first visit will be as warm as the work that will done to them . I will keep you all posted .

It was my first time walking into this office I wasnt sure what to expect after my last experience at some other office sadly after so many years I just knew I had to go somewhere else thanks to a friend who recommended me here. I was amazed at the friendly staff today I was so happy with how my day went as a new patient from the front office receptionist to the assistant, Dr. Zas, and Jessica made me feel very confortable also the hygeniest making sure I was ok and did my cleaning fast I was in love with how clean my teeth felt after! Dr. Zas went through every xray in detail I was amazed! Very fast and right to the point! This is my new location now and I will be bringing in my son in very soon!

This is my initial review for gardena dental. It is clean and has hand sanitizer available to use.. the dental hygienist is really nice and explains what she is going to do. The Dr himself explains all the x-rays that are being taken. Once my deep clean is done will do another review, ** unfortuantly, the office does not allow recording of my visit without permission from the owner? which prevents a show of what I want to demonstrate. Which I wanted to go pro it.. lol. The lady did question my intention and what I was doing and why. Just to sum it up, if you want to record, they don't like it. Things that are nice so far: Inside the office are big screen tvs to show your dental records and xrays. They take color photos of your bad things and explain what is what and what they are going to do. The dental hygienist are very nice, she ask if you are in pain frequently to make sure this go smoothly. If you are, which I was, they escalate the pain medication accordenly. So far I'm pretty happy about the visit, I have to come back to get my remaining fillings done with the dds. Great service so far A+

Came in for the first time to this office for an exam. The office inside is nice and clean, with smiling faces from the staff all around. As they left me in the room to await my exam they were kind enough to give me the remote to watch some Netflix. For the exam I had Dr. Saz checking my teeth and taking pictures. He took the time to explain everything as he went through the x-rays and pictures. He was very kind and patient, and as someone who has anxiety when going to dentist, it was definitely appreciated. Before leaving, he made sure to ask if I had any questions and left me with a nice little dental traveling kit. Afterward, Jessica, the patient care coordinator, broke down my treatment plan and explained the associated costs and what my insurance was covered. It helps having someone like Jessica explain it all, because otherwise I'd be lost. She was very thorough and left me prepared for my next appointments.

We have our family getting check-up s and regular dental work done and are very satisfied with the level of care we have received. Our children are finally looking forward to the dentist and that is saying a lot. Give them a try and see if they can take care of you. They are honest and straightforward too.

Dr. Armen is the best! He is so kind and patient. I really want to share my wonderful experience with this dental office because it was fabulous from start to finish and quite unexpected to be honest. This was my first time coming to this office and I was a bit nervous because I have had not so good experiences with dental offices persuading me that I needed dental procedures that I didn’t need and this is not what happened here. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very polite young lady that showed me the paperwork that needed completing. It was about 2-3 minutes and I was whisked into the X-ray/exam room. The lady taking my X-rays was super gentle and Dr. Armen was extremely knowledgeable about what to expect and the procedure I needed moving forward. I do not currently have dental insurance, but Leslie, which happens to have the same name as me, is absolutely amazing and very professional. She was the highlight of my visit for sure. Unlike other dental offices, she truly cares and she sees me, not the dollar signs. I appreciated that the most. Leslie worked the numbers to where she could give me a discount rate and worked out an affordable payment plan. I am over 60 and have had a lot of dental work done in the past by different dentist and this was a much different experience I love this place so very much and thank you to ALL of the staff for making me feel so special. You are all awesome!

My first visit to Gardena dental was exceptional everyone was great. Yesenia helped me with my X-rays and Vanessa was so nice and helped explain everything with such patience, thank you so much for all your help.

My first visit to Gardena Dental Group was most pleasant. I was fearful because I am not a fan of needles, drills or that burning smell that lingers after root canals and crowns. In spite of this, I was assured by a wise woman who had been a patient for several years - along with her husband -, that this would be, "The BEST Decision I Would Make Today." Thankfully, she was right 💐 Upon arrival, I was assisted by Jessica who aided me through the paperwork as well as my treatment plan and next appointment. Soon after completing the paperwork, I was called in for my x-rays and consultation. I was elated to hear that I only needed a permanent crown (to replace the temporary one I had from a previous dental procedure) and a filling on the opposite side. Tatiana and Dr. Tounian were Knowledgeable and Compassionate throughout my consultation; this made it easy to ask questions about the treatment plan and how to continue keeping my smile healthy and bright 😁 My second visit was even better than the first. I was taken through the procedures I was to have, asked if I had any questions or concerns, then the assistant made preparations for the Doctor to work his magic 🪄 I was elated by the timely manner, professionalism and care taken by the entire Dental Team (knowing how nervous I was about the needle - for numbing the area - and the drill for the crown & filling). I fell asleep a few times during the process, that's how comfortable I was 😊 I look forward to returning to get fitted for my permanent crown and later my mouth guard to prevent teeth grinding. As a first time patient I was very impressed with this office. All x-rays and pictures were digitize which I really appreciated. They were able to begin my treatment on my first visit and I was very impressed with my deep clean. Would highly recommend this office!

I just moved to the city of gardena and had been looking for a new dental office and came across Gardena dental through my insurance and im so happy to have found this office my experience was amazing from the time i walked in the receptionist is very kind and helpful tatiana and rachel took my photos and xrays they also did a scan that was awesome lets me see everything thats going on in my mouth i will be referring my family here forsure!
